Our aim is to give a warm welcome, together with an excellent range of drinks and fine home cooked meals. As a free house we have a broad selection of wines and frequent guest ales for your enjoyment. Standing beside the village green and opposite Hernhill's 15th century church, the Red Lion (once a Wealdon Hall, built in 1364) is everything you would come to expect from a kentish village pub. Whether you prefer to eat in the bar area, the upstairs restaurant or in the garden, or just wish to stop in for a drink you will find the Red Lion's hospitality second to none. We pride ourselves in being family friendly and are listed in the AA Family Friendly places guide, AA good pub guide and good food guide.
